The Snackwell’s Effect Part Two

If you’ve read the Shelton blog recently, you’ve seen us talking about the Snackwell’s effect:  the energy equivalent of eating all the cookies in the bag…which sometimes happens when people buy higher efficiency appliances.  We’re not the only ones seeing it.  We chatted with Traci Watson at USA Today a few weeks ago about the phenomenon and she decided to write about it.  In the process, she reached out to other experts in the field, and they’re seeing the same thing:
